It's damn late in the night and the doors are closed. You're going back home along with the public transportation's zombies. A sudden hit. You're down on the floor, some hands are making their way to your wallet. You'd like to move but you're too tired. Or too scared? You make your way back home with no more keys to avoid sleeping in the corridor. A new day, new hopes. Because you can't always lose, can you?

These mixed sensations are part of Luck on Strike's sound. The french duo was brought to the public by Pete Tong in 2007. Gathering electro and rocky guitars, they've been crafting their first EP against their machine's goodwill since 2005. The two perfectionists agreed to release the material on their own Lucky Life imprint after countless auto-remixes, versions and time consuming side projects. "You Can't Always Lose" has been mastered in London by the legendary Nilesh "Nilz" Patel (Björk, Hot Chip, Crystal Castles, LCD Soundsystem and Daft Punk among others).
